Deliveries & Returns
Deliveries
All bouquets are for local delivery only to EX22 postcodes. Please ensure you order your bouquet at least 48 hours before the desired day of delivery. This is so we can pick, condition and arrange your flowers. They are delivered by Howie and the Flowers on the day stated on the order confirmation email. The time of day cannot be confirmed but we will try to accommodate requests where possible.
All other items purchased from the shop pages are dispatched via Royal Mail and delivery time is usually around 3-5 working days. Delivery is £4.95 and is currently only available in the UK.
We are unable to accept cancellations or refunds on bespoke bouquets because the flowers are picked and conditioned especially for your order, however if you need to change the delivery address, please get in touch as soon as you can.
Returns
We hope you will be happy with your purchase but if you wish to return it you are able to do so within 10 days of delivery. Please email anna@howieandtheflowers.co.uk and we will be happy to provide you with a returns address.
The goods need to be returned at your own cost. Please ensure that they are sent back in their original packaging, intact and in the same condition as you received them in and we will process your refund on receipt of the item.
If the item you received is damaged in transit, please email anna@howieandtheflowers.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
We reserve the right to cancel any order.
Flower & Vase Care
To keep your flowers looking their best, ensure they have clean fresh water, changed every couple of days. You may also wish to snip a small amount off the stems at a 45 degree angle each time you change the water. Ensure there are no leaves or foliage below the water line as this increases bacteria to build up and if possible keep your flowers away from your fruit bowl to increase their vase life.
We recommend keeping your vases as clean as possible to ensure their longevity and to keep your flowers looking great when in use. Wash them in warm soapy water as opposed to the dishwasher and dry carefully. Vintage vases in particular should be washed with care as the glaze maybe damaged by excess scrubbing or soaking.
